Pastors & Staff

Meet the team.

Our staff team is made up of unique individuals who are passionate about Jesus and the mission He left us. They care deeply about seeing Ashland and the tristate area as it is in Heaven.

Pastor Phil & Debbie Fannin

Founder & Lead Pastor
Pastor Phil is the founding and lead Pastor of King's Way Church. He and Debbie have been married since 1990 and they have five children and nine grandchildren. Pastor Phil's ministry started out in the prisons and eventually turned into pioneering KWC. In their downtime, they love visiting their home away from home in Hilton Head Island, watching the Dallas Cowboys, and spending time with their family.

Pastor Jason & Jill Banks

Associate Pastor
Pastor Jason and Jill have been a part of King's Way Church almost since its very first service. They have been married since 1998 and have four beautiful children. Jill is a librarian and in addition to pastoring at KWC, together, they run a pressure washing business. Before pastoral ministry Jason was a lead singer in his Christian band Rested Soul. In their spare time they enjoy traveling and attending their kids' sporting events.

Lauren Hawkey

As Pastor Phil & Debbie's daughter, Lauren has been here since day one! Lauren has been married to her husband Joey since 2020 and they have two beautiful children. She has a bachelor's degree in business from Marshall University and has been on staff at King's Way since 2017. She has her hand in some way in administration, management, and media within King's Way. She loves traveling to new places with Joey and spending time with her babies.

Linda & Joe Sullivan

Hospitality & Admin
Linda and Joe have been a part of ministry for what seems like forever. Once missionaries to Haiti, God called them back to the area to help Pastor Phil build the vision of King's Way. Linda and Joe serve in areas from administration, to planning events, to planting flowers, to fixing loose screws. Their help knows no bounds. They enjoy spending time with their families and visiting new places.

Hailie Gullett

Hailie has been a part of King's Way since the very beginning in 2005. However, in 2024 she stepped into the role as worship leader. She will likely win any kind of music trivia you give her!

Jessie has been our Nursery leader since we were in our old, downtown building. She has served this role faithfully for many years. As of 2023, Brittnee joined her in serving in this role as well. Together, Jessie and Brittnee take care of the littlest people of King's Way and instill Godly values into them while moms and dads get to sit in service. Jessie is a mom to one son and Brittnee is a mom to three young boys. They are such a blessing to our church and to the Kingdom of God.
